Siam Country Club Waterside is another championship course from this prestigious group and sure to become one of the icons of the local golfing scene. As its name suggest you will encounter many lakes, creeks and other water hazards to challenge your shot making. The course has been designed to remain in harmony with its beautiful natural surroundings and with so much water on the site it is a factor on most holes.Very challenging from the back tees but does offer a range a tee boxes to suit most golfers.

The courses is very open with little protection from the prevailing winds which does keep you cool but does add to the difficulty level on some holes.Very few mature trees around the course and it will take a couple of years before the newly planted ones mature and this will add greatly to the look and feel of the course.

Some of the holes worth noting include the 600 yard long par-5 17th which is a dogleg with the option of playing over the water to reach the green in two whilst the high handicappers can opt for a layup and still make par providing you can avoid the deep ravine in front of the green. The finishing hole can be a card wrecker as you skirt the large man-made lake with the prevailing wind blowing into your face.You should be happy to walk off with a par here!
