Located just 20 minutes from Hoi An and 40 minutes from Danang Airport, this golf course is very east to reach.  You can arrive at the airport and within a couple of hours you can be measuring up the driver on the first tee at Hoiana Shores Golf Club.

As the name suggests, Hoiana Shores Golf Club is situated on the coast and is a links styles golf course.  In fact, four of the 18 holes are located right on the edge of the water, with the waves lapping in as you play your shots.  It is a magnificent experience.

The course at Hoiana Shores Golf Club is an 18 hole, par-71 course which plays to 7,401 yards from the back tees.  Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, there are lovely views of the Eastern Sea and Cham Islands as you play your way around the golf course. 

There is limited vegetation around the course, which is mostly made up of rolling dunes but there is enough rough around the fairway and greens to cause a problem if you leave the fairway.  For those very wayward shots, there are dense bushes waiting to catch your ball on some holes and an escape from there is very difficult.

As you would expect from a links golf course, the fairways and greens are quick.  It is possible to drive the ball a long way but pay attention to the wind.  The wind can pick up at any moment and this can be especially troublesome when attempting an approach shot to the green.  The sand really comes into play on the final few holes, which hug the shoreline.  If you happen to be offline on any of these holes, there is a chance you could be playing your next shot from the beach, which basically doubles up as a bunker at times.

There is no doubting the spectacular golf course at Hoiana Shores Golf Club but that’s not all you can enjoy at this magnificent venue.  The luxurious clubhouse is home to locker rooms, a restaurant, bar, café, terrace lounge and private dining room.  In addition, there is a full range of golf facilities at Hoiana Shores Golf Club.

These include a PGA golf academy, driving range, pro shop and a playoff hole.  You will also find a choice of high-end accommodation and plenty of entertainment in the evenings, such as a casino, state-of-the-art gaming facilities and nightly live performances.
