Three-time major winner Vijay Singh has created a layout with a number of innovative design techniques, including the 150-yard beach bunker on the par-4 third hole, and the green complex at the par-5 10th, literally perched atop a rock wall In creating the course, Singh drew skillfully from famous designs around the world (including Pebble Beach), making it a favorite of both low- and high-handicappers.

The course is quite difficult to get a good score on due to the amount of water, massive bunkers & sloping greens, if it wasn’t for the shorter distance, this golf course could very well have been nigh unplayable. There are 3 main features of the Vijay course: most of the bunkers are big, most of the greens are severely sloped, some with different levels and finally, the distance from the blue tee is short – only at 6,143 yards.
