Once a popular spot for American soldiers during the Vietnam-US War, My Khe is usually packed with locals during the weekends and holidays. The beach is also within a 10-minute drive from Son Tra (Monkey) Mountain, a breath-taking national park that houses Linh Ung Pagoda and the tallest statue of the Goddess of Mercy. Meanwhile, Hoi An Ancient Town, Hue Imperial City, and Phing Nga Caves are easily accessible via bus or taxi.
